ABOUT

Kato Herbots (BE, 2001) is a product designer with a fascination for the relationship between human, environment, materials and context. By blending thorough research, material exploration, and storytelling, her practice challenges preconceptions and explores responsible future scenarios.

Her expertise lies in mapping as a research method to uncover complex interactions and connections in order to create meaningful perspectives. This results in different typologies, from product design to research-driven installations. Recently, she is interested in the role of design in creating responsible more-than-human futures.
